Diamond in the not so Rough

The Hirshorn is not my favorite of the DC museums. I am not a fan of some modern art and there is one particular sculpture out side that freaks me out. I know that that means its good. It invokes an emotion while being a work of craftsmanship and creativity...but it still freaks me out. Its the one that looks like conspiring Weeble Wobbles.
There are plenty of places to sit around the museum but one in particular is very nice indeed. It is on the third story facing the mall. it has comfy black leather couches and two large conference like tables. There is Wifi access and a couple of plugs to recharge. The view is amazing and its very quiet.  There is great light at any time. Today was cold and rainy and it was still warm and inviting.

The Woman in the Orange Dress

Here is our first addition. A very off the beaten path place in Arlington. It is in the Days Inn on the corner of Pershing and Arlington Blvd. Aphra said it reminded her of a movie she saw but couldn't remember the name. All she did remember was a woman in an orange dress.  The front lobby is a very "House on top of Mount Rushmore in North by Northwest" kind of place. On the second floor there is a space with a lamp and two nice big chairs. It would work for someone who really doesn't want to be found.
